What is Banana Pepper?
Banana peppers are a type of chili pepper. They have a yellow-green, shiny skin with tapered ends and vary from 4-8 inches in length. A ripe banana pepper is actually red, but they are harvested before full ripeness occurs. The flesh is thin and contains seeds in its center. The flavor is sweet, mild and a little tangy.
