What is Duck Breast?
Duck breast is a cut of meat from the chest of the duck, an area that is plentiful in meat. The meat is red like a steak and has a similar cut, but is not in the category of red meat. Duck breast is commonly pan cooked or roasted. The meat is dark, moist and greasy, a bit like a highly flavorful chicken, but gamey and rich. Duck is excellent served with an accompanying sauce.
