What is Fresh Mozzarella?
Fresh mozzarella is traditionally made from water buffalo milk, though much of it is made with cow's milk. Fresh mozzarella comes packed in water and is formed into a white ball, a bit smaller than a tennis ball. It has a high water content and is therefore lower in fat.
