What is Lamb Sausage?
Lamb sausage can be found in many cuisines around the world and is rumored to have been in existence since the B.C. period. Lamb sausage consists of ground lamb meat, which has a fresh, sweet and grassy flavor. This meat is mixed with any variety of spices, herbs and seasonings, depending on whether it is a North African sausage, a Chinese variety or a French one, plus any other cuisine. The seasoned meat is stuffed in a thin casing, sometimes made from animal intestine lining and sold fresh or cured. Lamb sausage must always be cooked before consuming.
