What is Monopotassium Phosphate?
Monopotassium phosphate is a salt. It is extremely soluble, white or colorless and is structured similarly to granulated salt. It is used as a source of nutrition, buffering agent, to control PH, give food a sharp taste and can set gels. In addition it is used to emulsify salt into cheese and meat products and can also be found in some drinks, including Gatorade.
