What is Passionfruit?
Passionfruit is a small fruit that is roughly 3 inches in diameter. It has a smooth yet tough rind that is dark purple and not to be eaten. The inside of the fruit is golden/orange and full of dark seeds. The texture is custard-like but with body and a bit of fiber. The flavor is tropical and sweet, with a very mild acidity. Passionfruit can be eaten plain, used in desserts or pressed into juice.
