What is Tahini & Hot Sauce?
Tahini is a thick sauce made from ground sesame seeds and used in dressings and a variety of Middle Eastern dishes. The sauce can be made from raw or roasted sesame seeds and flavored with salt. The tahini is grey-beige, oily, yet pasty with a flavor that is earthy and salty.
There are many varieties of hot sauce. A typical recipe would be made of chili peppers with a hint of vinegar and salt. Many countries boast hot sauces with an intensity of focus in Asia and parts of the Americas. These ingredients are blended together to form a thin sauce with is often red in color with a spicy hot flavor. Both of these ingredients can be considered condiments.
