What is Trout?
Trout is a name for a number of medium-sized freshwater fish. Sea trout is the main trout that lives in saltwater. This fish has a pink meat and is fatty, but not overly so. Sea trout tastes stronger and could be considered akin to salmon in its flavor. Freshwater trout is blander, but still flavorful. Trout does not need a lot of seasonings and can be cooked any number of ways, including grilled, baked and fried.
