What is Tuscan Kale?
Tuscan kale is one of many varieties of the leafy green vegetable. Tuscan kale is named after the region of Italy where it has been cultivated for many centuries. This kind grows in a cluster of sturdy, thin, green stalks with dark leaves that have a crinkle to them. These leaves and stalks form a narrow oblong shape. Tuscan kale can be eaten raw or cooked and has a green and vegetal flavor. The stalk is slightly sweet.
