What is White Tea?
White tea comes from the camellia sinensis plant, a plant responsible for the production of white, green and black tea. White tea is harvested from the new young leaves and buds of the plant. It is dried and then made into loose or bagged tea. It is lightly caffeinated, has a gentle vegetal taste and smooth mouthfeel. When brewed, the tea has a pale golden color and can be served hot or cold.
