What is Caffeine?
Caffeine is a stimulant substance that energizes the body. It is found in coffee, black, green and white tea as well as chocolate. Though a less common, but still popular source of caffeine is the guarana fruit, among many other sources of caffeine. Caffeine can be found in nearly sixty plant species. The colors from these plants varies when the caffeine is extracted or incorporated, though it is commonly dark brown or green. The flavor is often bitter. Caffeine is usually served in beverage form.
