What is Chardonnay Wine?
Chardonnay is a white wine from France, though it is made in multiple countries wherever wine is produced. The wine is made from a green variety of grape and is then fermented. Chardonnay can be sweet or dry and generally has a full body with an oak flavor. Additional notes include citrus, fruit, or butter. Chardonnay wine is an alcoholic beverage with 5.5% to 23% alcohol. It is sometimes used in cooking.
