What is Cherries?
Cherries are a fruit that grow on trees. The common variety of cherry is red in color, though some types are golden and range from pale yellow to burgundy. Cherries are a small bite-sized fruit with a hard round pit in its center and a thin green/brown stem. The flesh of the fruit is medium soft and juicy. Cherries have a tart and sweet flavor and pair excellently with desserts and are popular served fresh.
