What is Croissant?
Croissants are a yeast risen pastry, made of multiple thin layers of dough, that have been folded over themselves many times. The texture of the golden brown croissant is flaky, with layers of cream colored pastry on the inside. The croissant is crescent shaped with the mild flavor of butter and a gentle wheat-like sweetness. Croissants are delicious eaten as is, or made into a sandwich.
