What is Dungeness Crab?
Dungeness crab is a crustacean that grows up to 20 centimeters in diameter. The meat from the claws and the leg of the crab are obtained and come out in tender lumps of meat from the limbs. The meat has a stringy quality, but is not tough or chewy at all. Dungeness crabs are favored for their sweet flavor and moist flesh. Crabs must be cooked before eating. Steaming is a popular method.
