What is Fructose?
Fructose is a sugar found in fruits and honey. Commercially produced fructose is made from sugar beets, sugar cane and corn. The fructose is turned into crystalline form and looks a lot like sugar, but is white and has slightly larger granules. This is said to be the sweetest natural sugar and tastes very similar, but with a fruity note. Fructose is used in baked goods, sauces, drinks and more.
