What is Phulka?
Phulka, also known as a chapati or roti, is an Indian flatbread made from wheat flour dough. The dough is formed into a thin corn tortilla-sized round and cooked in a pan and then over an open flame until it puffs up. The phulka is white or beige with small brown dots from the flame and has a thin body with a hollow and air filled center. The flavor is mild and pleasing.
