What is Puttanesca Sauce?
Puttanesca sauce is a pasta sauce made with crushed tomatoes, kalamata olives, anchovies and capers, seasoned with garlic, basil and red chili flakes. It has a chunky texture and a hearty, robust flavor. It is served tossed with cooked spaghetti and topped with grated parmesan.
