What is Shiraz Wine?
Shiraz and syrah are two types of wine that are sometimes confused. Each wine uses the same kind of grape, but a syrah will taste different from a jammy shiraz, because the shiraz is grown using grapes that were cultivated in a warmer climate than the same grapes used for syrah. Shiraz is a very dark red wine and one of the darkest red wines in the world. It has a thin consistency and an ABV of roughly 14%. The flavors are deep and fruity and range from blueberry to black olive, with a peppery finish. It is a full flavored wine that is best served cool.
