What is Tea?
Tea can be made from herbs, roots, leaves and even fruits. Caffeinated tea like black, green and white tea all come from one plant. Tea is a beverage made by infusing the tea leaves in hot water and steeping. The result is a beverage with various colors and flavors, which all depend on what kind of tea was made. Black tea will be dark brown with a savory sweetness and bitter edge. Green tea is more vegetal in flavor, while herb teas vary from floral, to fruity and earthy. Tea is commonly served hot and can also be served cold.
