What is Tomato Chutney?
Tomato chutney is a spread and condiment similar to a tomato jam, but less gelatinous. Pureed tomato is mixed with sugar, vinegar and seasonings to create a bright red or orange-red sauce that can be used for dipping or as a topping on breads. The flavor is sweet and tart.
