What is Tortilla Wraps?
Tortilla wraps are a thin and unleavened flatbread made of wheat flour. They are rolled into balls and then pressed into flat round discs and cooked on a heated surface. They are off white and may have small brown spots from the heat source. The texture is soft and pliable, due to a high amount of gluten in the dough, which helps the tortilla to not break. The flavor is mild and a tiny bit salty. Tortillas are used to make wraps and burritos.
