What is Whole Wheat Rotini Pasta?
Whole wheat rotini pasta looks almost exactly like fusilli and is formed into a tighter corkscrew shape. Whole wheat rotini has a beige color and is made from whole wheat flour, rather than white flour. The pasta is hard when dry and once boiled it become soft and easy to chew, while still maintaining its form. The flavor is mild and slightly nutty. Rotini is formed to hold sauces and is best served hot.
