What is Cheese Ravioli?
Cheese ravioli is an Italian pasta filled with seasoned ricotta cheese. It is made by placing spoonfuls of the cheese filling on a flat sheet of fresh pasta. A second layer is placed on top and the ravioli is cut into square shapes around the cheese, then pressed tightly at the edges. Some ravioli are shaped like a half moon.
