What is Garlic Sauce?
Garlic sauce is a Lebanese condiment. It is made from four main ingredients, garlic, oil, salt and lemon juice. Additional additives may be used for texture, such as cornstarch. The sauce varies from thick and pasty to thin and more like a oil based salad dressing. It is rich, pungent, spicy from the garlic and salty with a hint of sour. Garlic sauce is used on many dishes, including pizza.
