What is Kreplach?
Kreplach is a Jewish noodle dumpling stuffed with beef. They are similar to Italian ravioli or Russian pelmini. It is made with a thin pasta-like dough from wheat flour which is then stuffed with seasoned beef and a bit of onions and boiled. Kreplach are round and folded, triangle shaped or a crescent. The dumpling is tender, savory and salty. They are often eaten in a light broth as a soup.
