What is Yuca Fries?
Yuca fries come from the cassava root also known as yuca. The root is a starchy white tuber. The root is cut into thick sticks and deep-fried in hot oil until the outside is a golden cream color with a crunchy texture and the inside is soft with a texture vaguely reminiscent of a potato. The fries are salty with a mildly sweet and nutty flavor.
