What is Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli?
Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli is a pasta originating in northern Italy. Two layers of egg pasta dough are filled with a mixture of cooked chopped spinach and fresh ricotta, sealed and then boiled in salted water until tender. They have a slightly chewy texture and a salty, savory flavor. Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli can be served with either a drizzling of olive oil or a tomato sauce.
